Harris is a member of the Texas House of Representatives representing the Texas District 30. Her district encompasses the towns of Rosanky, Monahans, Seagraves, and the Fannin County Extension. Harris is a member of the House Committee for Mavericks, a committee that focuses on oil and gas issues among other topics. Harris also serves on the House Appropriations Commerce, Justice, and Science, and House Transportation and Homeland Security Committees.
