Haemar's Shame is located a long way from Falkreath, at the foot of the Throat of the World, straight east from the ruined town of Helgen. Following Barbas can be difficult as Barbas tends to get lost on occasion, so keep an eye on the map marker. The first distraction comes when you and Barbas face an unmarked bridge guarded by bandits, just west of Falkreath. Barbas cannot be killed because he is invulnerable, so just fight the opposition and keep an eye on the dog, who may wander off. Follow Barbas past Pinewatch and up the mountain towards Helgen. The trip goes through the destroyed town, now occupied by bandits, so help Barbas fight them. When all is said and done, Barbas will open the eastern gate himself and continue towards the Throat of the World. When you finally reach Haemar's Shame, Barbas will enter right away so follow him inside.
IDK if I am just dumb but this is still really confusing to me. I figure once it goes live I will understand it better. You're not alone. Garrisons and followers sounds overly complex from everything I've read. It's a whole different game than what we're used to, which is push-three-buttons-collect-epics. I expect eventually there will be a guide that spells out "here are the buildings you should have, the followers you should have, and which followers to send on which missions".

I already know I am going to grab my profession buildings but aside from that, not sure.
Sorry, should have clarified - not exactly asking what a work order is. The tooltip for the Leatherworking trait says "gives a bonus to work orders." I was inquiring more along the lines if this was outdated or not in yet. As mentioned here, they do make the tents and give the stat bonus, but there's no mention of a benefit to work orders.Edit: Here's the trait LeatherworkingThe bonus a follower provides is extra materials generated by work orders. Its also based on the follower's level. For example, a 90 follower will generate one extra item per work order, but a 100 follower will generate 6 (I think). My engineer shack with no follower will create 4 gearspring parts per work order, with a 100 follower that goes up to 10 per work order.Currently, my barn doesn't seem to do this though - I get same number of materials with or without the follower. I think the skinning bonus is probably buggy.

It's the only trait I've picked specifically for a profession building and it didn't seem to help. 2b1af7f3a8
